South Australian Presenters Association presents an annual showcase. The showcase connects performers directly with the presenters and can provide outcomes such as one off performance or toured shows. The showcase is held over one day at a member theatre venue and provides a great setting for the artists to pitch. Producers and artists are asked to prepare a 10 minute pitch about their show, which could be an exert from the show, a video/slide presentation or interactions direct with the audience about their work.
The delegates that attend the showcase include;
● Members of SAPA from metro and regional South Australia.
● Independent theatre operators
● Promoters and producers
The showcase which is now in its fifth year continues to grow and attract high quality shows and performers. Over the course of the day we have guest presenters and information about state and national based markets.
To submit your production to the SAPA showcase you will need to create a Producer and Production profile on the National Touring Selector site – instructions can be found here. Click here to join. Once a member, visit the market tab on the dashboard then follow the prompts to submit your production.
To submit your production to the SAPA showcase you will need to create a Producer and Production profile on the National Touring Selector site
Step 1 Register a user account
Step 2 - Create a Producer profile
This gives an overview of your company and describes the type of work you create. Once you have set up your profile you can add other registered users who will be able to edit and manage your National Touring Selector content and who will also receive news and other information.
Step 3 – Create a Production Profile
You can then create a Production Profile for as many productions as you have in repertoire or available to tour. These listings contain a great deal of information about the productions and cover technical needs, marketing, images & video, personnel and costs. The production may have had a season previously or may still be in the planning stages.
Step 4 - Enter your production(s) into a Market
If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Andrew Russo.
