Participants who attend the South Australian Presenters Association Showcase are subject to, and agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation and substitution policy: Cancellations must be notified in writing via email to SAPA.
Cancellations received more than fourteen business days prior to the event commencement date will receive a refund. No refunds will be given after this date; however an alternative delegate name may be submitted.
SAPA reserves the right to refuse attendance to any delegates who have not paid in full for their delegate fees.
Registrations
Disclaimer: South Australian Presenters Association reserves the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary.
Sharing registrations: One registration may not be used or shared by several individuals.
If a person is registering on behalf of a delegate/s it is the responsibility of that person to notify the delegate of the terms and conditions of registering, for which they will be agreeing to on the behalf of the delegate. Responsibility also includes proving full details of the delegate’s registration details as confirmed.
Special dietary/physical requirements will be catered for if requested before the event registration closing date. Please indicate any special requirements on your registration form or email SAPA with your specifications. Special requests on the day cannot be guaranteed.
Registration Notice: SAPA member registration rates are not transferable to non-SAPA members. By selecting a member registration rate, it is agreed that the registrant is a current financial member of SAPA. A breach of this may result in a cancellation of an event registration.
Photography and Recording
I authorise and grant SAPA the right to:
- record me (picture and voice) on photographs, film and or video, for audio and visual production. (the recording)
- edit the Recording into a photo gallery/short film/webinar (which may include other recordings and material);
- screen or place online (including on social media) the Recording.
I acknowledge that SAPA owns and shall own all rights, title and interest (including copyright) in the recording.
I understand I will receive no money from this Recording.
Privacy
Privacy notice: SAPA supports the privacy principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988, as amended. SAPA collects and stores your personal information for the purposes of providing membership services, education and training programs.
Australian privacy law limits the use of personal information for direct marketing of goods and services. We use your personal information to keep you informed about member services, products and publications.
If you book to attend our annual showcase we may publish your information on a delegate list provided to Producers.
SAPA may use your details to promote services in the form of email communications and/or other types of communication. Email
sussan.baldwin@countryarts.org.au if you would prefer not to receive communications from SAPA.
We store your information in electronic systems under our control and with contracted data storage providers. We take appropriate steps to protect the security of the information we hold about you, including protections against unauthorised access, virus or other electronic intrusions, fire, theft or loss.
We require our contracted providers to do the same. Our staff are bound by strict requirements regarding the protection of the privacy of the information we collect and hold about you.
